PETOPIA™ Is a social change campaign launching Q4 2016 aimed at making the Portland OR Metro area the best place on earth to be a pet, or have one; truly a place Where Pets & People Thrive™ ! Initiated by the Animal Shelter Alliance of Portland (www.asapmetro.org) the campaign celebrates the 94% save rate in area shelters and invites the wider community to take our community to the next horizon. There is a lot to be done to sustain the strides PDX has achieved is saving pets lives, as well as assure every pet in the region has a home, is well cared for and is thriving!  This initiative is inclusive of the broad array of organizations helping animals, and individual animal lovers whose skill sets can contribute to transforming our community.
