To promote health and fitness, education, cultural awareness, and community involvement, by organizing athletic and community programs, events.

The Los Angeles Firecracker Run Committee, Inc. is a community-based, 501.3(c)(3) non-profit organization staffed by non-salaried volunteers who donate their time and energies to organize and stage an annual run/walk/bike event. Proceeds from the Firecracker events are used to promote an enhanced quality of life for those who live and attend school in and around the greater Los Angeles Chinatown area, by providing charitable and civic organizations with financial and logistical support.
