Adventist Development and Relief Agency Somalia (ADRA Somalia) falls under the umbrella of development and relief agencies in 125 countries established by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It is a faith-based humanitarian agency that is committed to build and enhance the capacity of vulnerable communities in war-torn Somalia. Having operated in Somalia since 1992, ADRA Somalia’s projects have been designed to attain sustainable positive change in the lives of the people of Somalia through development and relief initiatives. With its main administrative and logistical base in Nairobi Kenya due to insecurity in Somalia, ADRA Somalia carries out all its projects in Somalia.
