Acerca de

A Christ-centered community of and for broken people doing life together.

We are a community where

  • Youth overcome obstacles and learn to live independently as adults
  • Young adults are trained to see their own gifts, purpose, and calling as Christian leaders in ministry.

Working with Youth: We welcome older youth - ages 16 - 21 -who need to learn how to live independently as adults. Most youth lack supportive family and social supports and the Dale House helps them get ready.

Youth come into our community in three ways:

  • From Colorado's human services system, often aging out of foster care or living in a group home. Youth come to us to learn how to make it on their own.
  • While involved in Colorado's juvenile justice system. Youth come to the Dale House instead of remaining in jail to build skills to be successful.
  • As private placements, relying on the support of family, churches, and friends.

Working with Chrisitan leaders: Our Training Staff program hires eight Primary Careworkers to serve for a one-year commitment. Primary Careworkers focus on one youth's plans and goals and serving on a team that supervises the youth in the house. Staff invest in kids' personally, knowing they must "earn the right to be heard." A year on Training Staff is a crash-course in loving kids, experiencing heartbreak, working through conflicts, and holding onto hope.
