Girls' Initiative Network

GIN Mission

The mission of the Girls' Initiative Network is to promote social, systemic and attitudinal change that will nurture future generations of brave, resilient, confident women & girls. The GIN is an innovative, community-based coalition of girls, young women, and their supporters united in creating a web of support for girls ages 8-20 in Multnomah County through advocacy, education, & activism. We provide direct supports, trainings & leadership opportunities for girls while connecting parents, teachers, & community members from many arenas. We strive to empower women to empower girls to be happy, healthy, & hopeful as we believe the crux of social change lies in community-wide support for the girls & women in our area. As a volunteer, you are central to furthering this vision.
