The New Haven Democracy Fund is the State of Connecticut's only municipal public campaign finance program. Established in 2007, the program is now in its 15th year and looking to expand beyond the mayor's race in the Elm City. With 3 participating candidates so far in 2023, the fund aims to provide grant and matching fund incentives for candidates who voluntarily limit their campaign contributions and eschew donations from political action groups and businesses.
This is the first time we are offering an internship with The Fund and are excited about the possibilities!
