Our Mission

MedShare, founded in 1998, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of people, communities and our planet by sourcing and directly delivering surplus medical supplies and equipment to communities in need around the world.

Our Commitment

MedShare is committed to providing assistance to all healthcare organizations and medical professionals that serve vulnerable populations regardless of religion, political affiliation, or race. MedShare often partners with various faith-based and non-governmental organizations to fulfill our mission. MedShare is steadfast in our obligation to provide high-quality medical supplies and equipment to hospitals and clinics in need.

Our Purpose

MedShare is a humanitarian aid organization that sources surplus, essential medical supplies and equipment and directly delivers them, with training, to medical facilities around the world, to help build capacity and improve the quality of life of people, communities and our planet.

Our Community

MedShare relies solely on the generosity of individuals, foundations, corporations and government grants to carry out our mission. Our 1350+ shipments of medical supplies and equipment, valued at over $200 million, have brought healing and the promise of better lives to more than 96 countries and countless patients while also decreasing our carbon footprint in the US. MedShare is a top ranked charity by Charity Navigator.  The organization currently operates in three regions (the Southeast Region based out of Atlanta, GA, Western Region based out of San Francisco, California Bay Area and Northeastern Region based out New York Metropolitan Area).  National headquarters are located in Atlanta.
