The
Pantry of Hope was started in 2012 to offer wholesome food items
free of charge to community members in need. The pantry is designed
to serve those who may just need a bit of extra help to make it
through the end of the month. Items range from canned and dry goods
to fresh meat and produce. The pantry is located in the cellar of
the St. Paul's Church which was renovated specifically to house the
pantry. The pantry has been a labor of love by many, fronted by
Carolyn Bolton, director of Senior Resources in Alameda County with
Episcopal Senior Communities.
