Located on the Indiana University campus in Bloomington, WFIU serves south-central and central Indiana through a series of translators and a national/international audience through its streaming web service. The radio news department has two full-time employees, several part-time, and a team of student interns, volunteers, and statewide stringers. Radio news is part of the WFIU/WTIU News Bureau, a recently restructured organization that in addition to radio, incorporates public television and Internet news in an integrated fashion.
