Clarehouse is a loving home for terminally ill people, providing living space, practical care and access to hospice services - devoted to the care of dying people and to the support of their loved ones. Clarehouse aims to meet the need of people who wish to die at home but lack the caregiver necessary to achieve that goal.

The Clarehouse campus supports our vision of a warm, loving, homelike environment for end-of-life care in a natural setting. The non-institutional, non-clinical feel of our home is coupled with the great compassion and experience of our (paid and unpaid!) staff to provide the next-best thing to home for our guests. In addition, our cooperative relationships with local hospices enable us to fill a critical gap in care without duplicating available services. We believe care of the dying to be an act of mercy that our community will continue to embrace and support as a worthwhile charitable endeavor. Clarehouse services are free of charge.
