....... born in the pandemic, A Song For You began as a music initiative writing for families & patients & first responders... and grew into its own charity writing songs for families and patients at the end of life
A Song for You is a grassroots art not-for-profit that provides essential healing and comfort to hospice patients (and their loved ones) at the end of their lives with song. Through personalized recorded songs, we honor the legacies patients leave behind while creating a final moment of connection between them and their families
Acerca de
Over a time span of 18 months, our artists wrote, recorded, and shared over 200 personalized songs, written from scratch, based on the stories of each individual patient as told through their families to help their legacies live on in song. Songs were also written to honor first responders--including a staff as small as 100 Nurses to one written for a healthcare system of 15,000 Nurses at Christmas. A Song For You has built a strong community of Artists, and attracted Grammy award-winning artists along with local, touring, and internationally awarded artists.
