Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is on a mission to end drunk driving, combat drugged driving, support the victims of these crimes, and prevent underage drinking. Through impactful programs and community projects, our goal is to eliminate drunk and drugged driving. We provide comprehensive victim services, encompassing grief support, legal aid, medical assistance, and guidance.
Programming & Events: MADD conducts victim impact panels annually, reaching thousands of drunk or drugged driving offenders, including first and repeat offenders. These panels feature testimonials from bereaved victims. Signature events include the holiday red ribbon program "Driving Change," encouraging a sober holiday season. We partner with Michigan law enforcement agencies, host the Law Enforcement Recognition Luncheon, and organize Walk like MADD, a prominent community awareness event in late summer/fall.
