Loneliness is considered the “the epidemic of the 21st century”, with research increasingly proving that it is far worse for your health than obesity, poor diet, alcohol or lack of exercise.
That's where the Stitch Community comes in.
The Stitch Community is a not-for-profit charity that helps address loneliness and social isolation in people over 50.
Since 2014, over 980 volunteers have made an impact on social isolation and loneliness in over 50 cities worldwide.
More importantly, a 2019 member survey revealed a 54% reduction in feelings of loneliness & isolation among participating members.
