Come-Unity Cooperative Care(CCC) began in the basement of a local catholic church in 1985 as a clothing closet to help meet the needs of a struggling community. The donations quickly overtook the space and a building was purchased by the ministerial association. In 1994 ground was broke for the current location of CCC. We now serve an average of 550 families and 384 senior citizens with supplemental food boxes each month. We operate a thrift store on site, which provides free clothing, furniture, and household items to people in need. We also administer a children's Christmas program, a denture program, utility assistance program and barefeet program. We supply needy families with new blankets, winter coats, shoes, toys, baby and adult diapers, hygiene products, etc.
Our goal is to be the central location for churches, community organizations, businesses, and individuals to refer people for help.
