The mission of Knit Around the World is to better the lives of individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Knit Around the World uses knitting as a framework to create social, therapeutic, and economic opportunities for these individuals, their families, and their communities. This organization aims to help HIV/AIDS individuals lead productive and fulfilling lives, while also improving knowledge about HIV/AIDS throughout the world.
Knit Around the World is an 501(c)3 pending non-profit that is dedicated to helping people living with HIV/AIDS in Malawi, a country in Sub-Saharan Africa, through the use of knitting and knitting circles to provide both emotional support and a source of income.
