Misión
Mission: the Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District supports the Pikes Peak Library District in providing programs and spaces that cultivate belonging, personal growth, and strong communities. We achieve this by: • Growing and retaining a thriving diverse membership • Recruiting and leading strong, dedicated volunteers • Providing affordable books for library patrons through our bookstores and book sales • Raising money through book sales programs membership and donations
Acerca de
The Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District was established on March 11, 1955, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Colorado Springs Public Library, and incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 1969.
We support the Pikes Peak Library District by serving as community advocates, raising funds to enhance library services and programs, promoting the love of reading and books, and recirculating materials in environmentally responsible ways. Since 2000, we've donated over $1.5 million to PPLD to help fund their mission.
