As an event, we are called B’more QFest, A Film & Media Event; however our legal entity name is Baltimore’s QUEER Film & Media Festival. Which actually started in 1998 as Baltimore’s QUEER Film & Video Festival. We are progressively working toward building relationships with our community leaders and the community as a whole. Chris, the Festival Director and Advisory Board President, is now back and more energized than ever before to not only revive the festival but make it a force with which to be reckoned. Baltimore OUTLoud and Universal Catering & Events have signed on to be Premiere Presenting Sponsors of the festival and the monthly showcase screenings starting in November. In addition to our mission is to bring quality QUEER film/media to Baltimore on an annual and a monthly basis. We also want to shine a spotlight on Baltimore’s QUEER filmmaking community. We will be holding monthly showcases and fundraisers at Universal Catering & Events, a Premiere Presenting Sponsor.
