Moten Elementary School serves students grades PK-5. Located in Ward 8, Moten is a DCPS Connected School that focusing on the transformation of its community through intentional instruction, family advocacy, and the performing arts. For school year 2020- 2021 we are seeking educators that connect with families and students through high instructional expectations and practice along with genuine care about students’ overall wellness.
Our Vision: Moten Elementary provides a safe community to transform students into positive social advocates.
Our Mission: Through intentional and purpose-driven instruction, we seek to create a compassionate community that inspires scholars, artists, and families to enact social change; transforming Anacostia and beyond.
