The Community Preschool of the Palisades

The Community Preschool of the Palisades, founded in 1986, was a mission of the Palisades Community Church for over 30 years. Last year, we moved into an exciting new phase as we now operate as an independent non-profit entity, remaining dedicated to providing high quality education for our children and the DC community. The Preschool’s primary focus centers on the emotional, social, physical, intellectual well-being and development of its children. We are dedicated to providing high-quality care and education for our children. We encourage their natural curiosity and creativity in a play-based setting. We believe that preschoolers learn most naturally through play and their interaction with peers and their environment. We value the child as a whole person and seek to promote all aspects of his or her growth.
