Serenity House of Mooresville and Huntersville

Serenity House of Mooresville and Serenity House of Huntersville, the only two comfort care homes in North Carolina, are operated through private donations as a community-based residential alternative for end-of-life care.

The services that Serenity House provides are a vital option to area hospice families who find themselves under extreme stress when they cannot properly care for a loved one at their own home. The average Serenity House resident receives $20,250 in donated care which is given by volunteers and staff members who become the resident’s surrogate family. Professional medical care is provided through local hospice agencies.
