FRIGID is a two-week Independent Theater festival featuring 30 local, national, and international theater companies presenting over 150 performances in three East Village theaters. The goal of FRIGID is to provide artists with the opportunity to produce their play no matter the content, form or style and to make their work as affordable and accessible as possible for the members of the community. In doing so, FRIGID New York seeks to contribute to Independent Theater and build a strong community of artists and theater-lovers in the East Village.
