New England Carpenters Benefit Funds (NECBF) is committed to bringing benefits of union membership to carpenters throughout New England. New England Carpenters receive a comprehensive health benefits plan to employer-paid pension and guaranteed annuity plans. The New England Carpenters benefits package rivals any in the industry!
Benefits and provisions are established through collective bargaining between representatives from the union and management and are administered by Trustees representing both sides. Employers also contribute to industry advancement programs that provide for apprentice and journeymen-level upgrade training and safety.
The Funds are responsible for the operation of two retirement plans, a self-insured/self-administered health plan and a vacation savings plan, servicing more than 15,000 active members and 7,200 retirees.
