Breakthrough Saint Paul

Breakthrough Saint Paul is a member site of The Breakthrough Collaborative, a national organization of academic enrichment programs that inspire excitement for learning, create pathways to college and promote careers in education. Like all programs in the Collaborative, Breakthrough Saint Paul employs a “Students Teaching Students” model of education.

At Breakthrough Saint Paul, this model places academically motivated, under-resourced, middle school students from Saint Paul Public Schools in classes that are designed and taught by passionate and talented college and older high school students. A team of professional mentor teachers and a dedicated staff train the young teachers and oversee the entire process.
