Founded in 2014, Ocean First Institute (OFI) advances ocean conservation through research, education, and community engagement. For more than a decade, OFI has connected students and communities with hands-on science while creating pathways into deeper research, field, laboratory, and conservation experiences. Today, our work is centered in Colorado and Florida, where we adapt this model to the ecosystems, schools, and communities we serve.
