ST BENEDICT CATHOLIC CHURCH TERRE HAUTE INC

The St. Benedict Church Soup Kitchen's goal is to help the less fortunate members of our community. This includes helping the elderly, unemployed, underemployed, veterans, poor, migrants and homeless - women, men and children. The Soup Kitchen provides meals at no cost to our guests and it is sustained by committed and compassionate volunteers and also, by the generous contributions of donors. We do not receive any funding from the county, state or federal governments.

The St. Benedict Soup Kitchen provides healthy and nutritious meals to all who come through our doors. We are committed to improving the quality of life and restoring the dignity of those we serve when providing a hot meal to any member of our community in need of one.

Our VISION is to assure that no one goes hungry, that no food is wasted in our community, and no one is denied the opportunity or assistance to become self-sufficient.

Our target ministry is simply the hungry, but more specifically those living in the Wabash Valley. The individuals and families served by The St. Benedict Soup Kitchen are a diverse population with a wide variety of backgrounds and circumstances.
