Whether advocating for the resources our community needs to thrive, educating decision makers on the value of the arts to our state, our communities and our quality of life, or organizing the arts community to speak with a unified voice, all of our work is focused on inspiring support for the arts.

Working with our members and partners, we envision a future where arts, culture, and creativity are valued as fundamental to vibrant, healthy, connected, and equitable communities in Connecticut.
CAA Purpose:
(a) To foster public education and awareness of the arts.
(b) To promote and underscore the value of all achievements of the arts industry and all the ways it improves our lives.
(c) To advocate to ensure that the arts are central to the life of Connecticut.
(d) To increase funding for the arts.
