Open Avenues

Open Avenues' volunteers are an integral part to the organizations overall success through their dedication and hard work they promote they help to promote capable people who conduct quality work. Volunteers must use their time wisely to complete their task at hand in both an accurate and professional manner. They must also follow the guidelines and rules established by Open Avenues, give clearance for a background check, be a champion for our participants and our mission and be able to lift anywhere from 20-60lbs. Volunteer opportunities can include maintenance work at our location, spending time with our participants, assisting at an event or working on some development projects. It is our overall goal to open avenues of opportunity for people with disabilities by facilitating personal growth and attainment of vocational goals.
