Montana Tech Foundation

Established in 1967, the Montana Tech Foundation (Foundation) is an independent, non-profit organization which qualifies under the provisions of IRS code 501(c)(3) and serves as the official development office for Montana Tech. The Foundation is dedicated to operate exclusively for the purpose of encouraging, promoting and supporting the educational programs and scholarly pursuits of Montana Tech. The Foundation’s specific purpose has expanded over time as follows: Champion the mission and vision of Montana Tech of the University of Montana. Build and foster relationships with the constituents that the college serves. Encourage and enable philanthropy. Solicit and accept financial gifts, equipment, real property and professional services. Support special projects, research efforts and campus salaries in order to enhance the quality of educational programs. Administer student scholarships and grants to enhance academic achievement and success. Stewardship – Responsible management of any resource entrusted to the Foundation. Celebrate success - Provide recognition of students, college and foundation employees and constituents for outstanding service or contribution to education.
