FROM THE ASHES HORSE RESCUE AND REHABILITATION
Misión
We strive to create a safe environment for in-need or at-risk horses in East Tennessee and surrounding areas. Our goal is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome these majestic creatures. Through our rehabilitation program, we hope to provide each horse with skills and abilities making them a desirable addition to any pasture to avoid returning to a situation that would bring them back to a rescue like ours.

We are dedicated to addressing the critical issue of horse neglect, abuse, and the risk of slaughter. Many horses suffer due to abandonment, malnutrition, or improper care, often due to lack of owner education or financial resources. Additionally, the slaughter pipeline poses a dire threat to the well-being of these animals. Our organization works to provide a safe haven for these horses, focusing on individualized rehabilitation to restore their health and trust. By offering rehoming opportunities, we aim to give these horses a second chance at life. We also strive to educate the community on responsible horse ownership and the importance of animal welfare, creating lasting change for both horses and their owners.
