Downtown Blacksburg, Inc.

Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. (DBI) is an association of merchants, property owners, and downtown advocates whose mission is to sustain a dynamic, vital, and diverse community through marketing, events, economic development, and leadership.

You can celebrate all seasons with DBI - we host numerous events in the downtown community, including Summer Solstice (June), Steppin’ Out (August), Downtown Tailgates during VT football season, and many more. Visit our website for a complete listing. All proceeds from DBI events go right back into the community!

DBI takes pride in its association with other community organizations. We offer opportunities for non-profits to raise funds for their own causes at many of our events. We work closely with local government agencies, involved citizens, and civic groups to make Downtown Blacksburg "the heart of your hometown."
