NuFound21 " New Undoings"

NuFound21’s mission is to empower, serve, and educate survivors of familial trafficking and sexual violence through safe, supportive spaces, art-based trauma-informed curriculum, and resources that support healing, truth, and purposeful futures. Through groups and trainings, we help individuals build direction and purpose while holding systems and families accountable and raising awareness around the complexity of this issue.

Much of the work in this field rightfully centers survivors. However, when only part of the issue is addressed, critical aspects of harm can remain unexamined. The reality is complex. For some, those who have caused harm are viewed solely through the lens of accountability and punishment which is necessary and important. For others, these individuals exist within deeply personal relationships that are not easily untangled. Survivors are often left navigating these layered and conflicting truths over time.

At NuFound21, we center survivors while also recognizing that cycles of harm do not exist in isolation. In some cases, individuals who have caused harm have also experienced harm themselves. While we do not provide direct services to those who have caused harm, we offer education, tools, and resources that promote understanding, accountability, and the interruption of harmful cycles without minimizing the experiences of survivors.

We believe meaningful change requires honest conversations, clear boundaries, and a commitment to addressing harm in all its complexity.
