matchboxarts was founded in 2008 as an integrated media production house. Our methods on employ a creative and technical regard to immediacy similar to that of an instant Polaroid: The content, creation and production arise necessarily 'of-the-moment', and produce artifacts that function both as documents and as art objects. With a focus on dance, we have created live art installations, published dvds, staged events, and hosted film screenings in tandem with a variety of different arts groups.
