The mission of the Greatest Generation Naval Museum is to provide people with an understanding of the historical significance of World War II while honoring those that were lost.
Greatest Generation Naval Museum Veteran Outreach Program
The Greatest Generation Naval Museum is conducting a veteran outreach program to provide home cooked evening meals to military veterans with injuries living and rehabilitating at Naval Medical Center San Diego (Balboa) and Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital.
Volunteers are needed to conduct food preparation, on site cooking, and delivery. Volunteers that can cook and or have a food services background are encouraged but not required.
Volunteers will be asked to conduct food preparation at a prep kitchen facility and then cook and deliver the meals by mobile food facility to various military hospital locations.
Let's serve those who have served and sacrificed for their country. Thank you.
