Tanager Place

Since 1879, Tanager Place has been focused on helping children and families through mental health treatment, prevention and outreach. Today, Tanager Place provides an extensive array of programs designed to help children with behavioral, emotional or psychiatric disorders achieve success. Thousands of children find healing through Tanager Place’s comprehensive outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic, inpatient, and community-based programs each year.

Our programs offer healing and treatment for children who are struggling emotionally, who are challenged by a mental health disorder such as Autism, or who have been diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder. Tanager Place also serves 600 at-risk children at Camp Tanager annually.

We offer one of the greatest levels of professional care for children in Eastern Iowa, with an extensive array of programs designed to fit children's unique needs.
