The Minnesota Environmental Fund engages individuals and workplaces to support leading nonprofit organizations that protect, conserve, and restore Minnesota’s environment. We make it easy to care for our environment by giving, volunteering, and learning.

- The Minnesota Environmental Fund (MEF) makes it easy for people at work to protect, conserve and restore Minnesota’s environment.
- Clean water, natural areas, clean air and healthy food are many of the benefits of supporting MEF.
- MEF is the only Minnesota nonprofit organization supporting people at work giving, volunteering, and learning about our environment.
- More than 100 employers, including businesses, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations, participate in employee giving and volunteering initiatives statewide. As a result, more than $13 million has been raised since 1991, supporting the leading nonprofits that protect, conserve and restore our environment.
- Through MEF, employees can pledge an amount to donate each pay period to support organizations of their choice. Contributions can be designated to one or more specific organizations or can be divided equally among all member organizations.
- It’s easy to add the MEF workplace giving campaign. MEF staff will help you every step of the way and will handle disbursement of funds to designated environmental organizations.
