“Yes Middle East and North Africa” (YESMENA ياسمينه ) is an initiative to help micro, small and medium size enterprises in the region achieve success through pro-bono management consulting advisory in multiple business disciplines.

Yesmena, which means the jasmine flower in the Arabic language, is a symbol of the healthy growth and the hope of a better future resulting from the Arab Spring. With the newly rediscovered sense of empowerment and national pride, promising entrepreneurs in Egypt and other Arab countries are eager to reap the benefits and build a strong business presence in the new economies. Yesmena is here to help.

The Yesmena initiative relies on the expertise of Volunteer Consultants (VC) with a leading track record in multiple business capacities. VC’s are matched with projects submitted by Business Partners (BP) according to their skillset and project preferences.

The advisory service is performed remotely in the majority of instances through a variety of telecommunication vehicles, such as online or using the telephone. The business partner (BP) commits to fully covering communication costs for the project, however both sides - BP and VC - are encouraged to use readily-available free communication methods, such as Skype.
