Binti Care is on a mission to empower young women and girls with tools to create sustainable social and economic change for themselves, care for their families, and strengthen their communities.
Acerca de
BintiCare foundation was formerly called Love Binti. It was started in 2012 by Elizabeth Mumbi.
The story of Binti Care has revolved mostly around the provision of reproductive health education and economic empowerment for women in rural communities in Trans Nzoia county, Kenya, as a way to eradicate gender inequalities in our communities. Over the years, BintiCare has begun spreading across to West Pokot and Bungoma counties, most recently establishing the BintiCare Centre in Musikoma, Bungoma. We want to create and implement initiatives that ensure all women and girls have the tools and the power to reach their full potential and the opportunity to thrive.
