Prevention First is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Springfield, Illinois, with a satellite office in Chicago. Established in 1980, the organization has over four decades of experience providing training, technical assistance, and resources to promote public health, specifically substance use and violence prevention, youth development, and mental well-being. We have been nationally recognized for our evidence-based approaches, comprehensive training programs, and unwavering commitment to health equity.
