About XOESE, the Francophone Women’s Fund

Our objectives are achieved through grant-making and capacity-building initiatives throughout our geographic scope, which includes all French-speaking (Francophone) countries of the Great South. Primary objectives include:

• Providing financial support to feminist organizations to increase their ability to implement initiatives that promote and advance women’s rights
• Strengthening the institutional capacity of women’s organizations
• Encouraging and supporting innovative solutions/initiatives for the empowerment of women, young women, and girls, and the feminist organizations that work to achieve gender equality

XOESE is headquartered in Lomé, Togo.

Staff is made up of employees and volunteers who either work remotely or from the headquarters.
