West Harlem Community Preservation Organization is a non-profit grassroots volunteer organization that brings together the many and varied community organizations– residents, tenants, organizations, businesses, and institutions to resolve issues, advocate for services, and amplify our unique and diverse community.Founded in 1996, the West Harlem CPO's mission is to inform, educate and advocate on issues that impact the quality of life in West Harlem. We seek to celebrate the diverse people, culture, and communities of West Harlem and to preserve its unique architecture and historic places.
