The mission of Youth Transforming Justice (YTJ) is to keep teens in school and out of the juvenile justice system, by providing alternatives to suspension and law enforcement citation, through peer-led restorative and trauma-informed programs that disrupt the school-to-prison pipeline. We value authentic youth/adult partnerships, youth agency and treating trauma rather than punishing trauma behavior. We serve Marin teens between 12-25 and their families.
