The Teddy McArdle Free School is a non-profit independent school in Little Falls, NJ, based on the democratic and free school educational philosophies. We believe that children are naturally curious and innate learners who, when free to make their own choices and follow their own interests in a nurturing and supportive environment, will develop all of the traits and knowledge needed for a happy and satisfying life. There is no mandatory curriculum or testing, and no age segregation. Every student is offered respect, compassion and the opportunity for self-determination.
