Kids Together

The mission of Kids Together, Inc., is to raise funds and build public awareness in support of Kids Together Playground at Marla Dorrel Park in Cary, North Carolina. Kids Together promotes use of the playground, presents special activities and events at the playground and develops and funds projects to improve and enhance the Kids Together Playground experience. As stewards of the playground, we work in partnership with the Town of Cary to assure that this public facility continues to serve as a nationally-acclaimed model for excellence in accessible outdoor play.

Our all-volunteer organization holds at least four activities at the playground each year - three are offered free to the public, while one is an annual fundraising walk. Additional funds are raised through memberships and donations. Our board of directors also serves as a sounding board for the Town of Cary, reviewing plans for playground improvements and monitoring care and conditions at the playground.
