Claymore Senior Center

The Claymore Senior Center Inc.  has served the Wilmington population for over 20 years. Originally named, ” The St. Hedwigs Senior Center”, the center moved in 1989 to 504 South Clayton St. and was renamed .The building at that time was a renovated 4 stories, 200-year-old mansion. Our facility has continued to grow and expand as the needs of our community changed. 10 years ago an addition was added to the building. It enabled the center to add a wellness center complete with a progressive workout facility and a main hall ( 4300 sq. Ft.) area for  the programming needs.  In addition we offer a computer lab with DSL internet accessibility, as well as ongoing recreational, educational and Health & Wellness programming. Claymore Senior Center, Inc. is dedicated to providing a wide range of programs, to meet social, recreational, physical wellness, and the educational needs of our members. We strive to maintain an environment that enhances quality of life, encourages personal development and promotes mutual respect for all.
