The Children's Museum of Houston

The Museum's mission is to transform communities through innovative child-centered learning through interaction with children, parents, caregivers and teachers. Driving the creation of the Museum's exhibits and programs is the understanding that children need access to activities that promote hands-on, minds-on learning. To this end, the Museum provides children with multi-disciplinary opportunities to experience and experiment, activities that have been informed by the input of experts in the field and with reference to school-based curriculums and national teaching standards.
