Overpopulation threatens the quality of life for people everywhere. Population Connection is the national grassroots population organization that educates young people and advocates progressive action to stabilize world population at a level that can be sustained by Earth’s resources.

We work to ensure that every woman around the world who wants to delay or prevent pregnancy and childbearing has access to the full range of health services and contraceptive supplies she needs in order to do so.

Our core programs:

• Educate young people about unsustainable population growth through K-12 lesson plans that reach 3 million students a year;
• Inform constituents across the country about key policy issues related to family planning, reproductive health and population;
• Work directly with Congress and the White House to inform family planning policy and funding levels.
