The Floating Foundation

The Floating Foundation is a New Zealand-based NGO operating in Tonga and the Pacific Islands. Our aim is to promote scientific understanding and improve the lives of Pacific Island communities, all while promoting positive connections and understanding among young scientists and volunteers.
We work out of a 120-ft yacht, the Infinity, which floats offshore from Tonga. From this mobile base, we conduct medical outreach programs to Tongan villages, and conduct scientific research with projects from various universities.
