Mitchell House is a warm, peaceful home where people can spend their final days surrounded by care, dignity, and love. We’re not a hospital or a nursing home-we’re a cozy, comforting place where residents and their families can find support during one of life’s most meaningful times.

Our team works alongside amazing hospice partners-St. Croix Hospice, Care Initiatives Hospice, and Hospice of the Midwest-to make sure each person here gets thoughtful, individualized care. But what really makes Mitchell House special is the heart of our community: our volunteers.

Whether it’s sitting with a resident, baking cookies, working in the garden, greeting families, or helping with events, volunteers play a huge role in making this place feel like home. You don’t need medical experience-just compassion, kindness, and a little time to share.
