The Mt. Rainier Bike Co-op is a community bicycle repair shop, a program of the City of Mt. Rainier, Maryland. We provide a space and the tools for community members to repair their bikes, we accept donations of used bikes, and we refurbish those bikes or salvage the parts. We have an earn-a-bike program for youth and adults learning mechanics and refurbishing bikes before they can use their skills to refurbish a bike which they can keep. We sell the refurbished bikes to the community to help fund our operating expenses.
