Seattle Atheists

Seattle Atheists is an educational non-profit dedicated to serving the atheist community in the Seattle area.

We hope to encourage and create a thriving community of atheists & humanists, whose presence is as known, respected, and involved as any other non-profit group in the open-minded and tolerant Puget Sound area.

We believe and propose that the secular worldview should be recognized as the healthy perspective and lifestyle that it is.

We do not believe in anything religious, supernatural, superstitious, or mystical – although we recognize that people have the right to these views.

We believe that science and reason are the best, most reliable ways to understand the world we live in, and to meet the challenges that life presents us with.

We support the Constitution of the United States of America and the wall of separation between church & state.

We strive to practice strong ethics, are concerned for humanity’s well being, and believe in being informed and responsible citizens.
